Ink of Liangshan is a single-player tactics RPG that retells the Water Margin saga across fifteen chapters, from Lu Da’s three famous punches to the storming of Zhu Family Manor. Positioning, facing, terrain and rear strikes all matter on the board, and one careless step costs a hero.

15 story chapters, each a famous scene you fight yourself; the heroes keep their voices from the novel
17 heroes, each with a trait of his own: Wu Song hunts enemy commanders, Li Kui acts again after a kill, Ruan Xiaoqi is at home in the water. A Seal of the Heavenly Stars promotes a hero and lifts every art he knows
Born under the stars: every hero carries his star from the 108, drawn as his own constellation
Ultimates and Joint Arts: fill the Rage bar and a guardian beast rises behind the hero as ink sweeps the field; bonded pairs strike together
Legendary arms and the forge: gear comes in five grades, legendary weapons hide in chapter replays, and the forge tempers plain steel
Four difficulty levels; the harder the fight, the better the loot
After the story: endless Survival mode, chapter replays and a Codex to complete
