《墨染梁山》 (Ink of Liangshan) is a single-player tactics RPG that retells the classic Chinese novel Water Margin: fifteen chapters from Lu Da’s three famous punches to the battle of Zhu Family Manor, fought turn by turn on a bright, hand-painted isometric battlefield where every blow lands in a splash of ink.
One stroke of ink and an army gives way. Seventeen heroes, each with a gift no one else has; position, facing, terrain and the strike from behind all count. Legendary arms to hunt, Heavenly Seals to win. Fully offline, with no ads and no in-app purchase traps.
《墨染梁山》是一款单机战棋 RPG，重讲古典名著《水浒传》。从鲁提辖拳打镇关西到三打祝家庄，一共十五回。回合制，手绘的等距战场色调明快，每一击都溅起墨花。
一笔墨落，千军辟易。一十七位好汉一人一绝，走位、朝向、地形、背袭，步步都有讲究。神兵可寻，天罡印可求。全程离线，没有广告，也不搞内购套路。
- 15 story chapters十五回战役: hand-built battles retelling the novel’s beats, each told over its own scene painting, with original-flavor vernacular dialogue.
- 17 heroes, 17 ways to fight一人一绝: every hero has a trait to build tactics around: Lin Chong strikes first when attacked, Ruan Xiaoqi is a dragon in the water, Li Kui acts again after a kill.
- Ultimate and duo arts奥义 · 合击: fill the rage gauge for a full-screen ultimate with the hero’s guardian beast; stand bonded heroes side by side for one of seven joint techniques, each with its own ink set piece.
- Auras气场: Chao Gai rallies, Song Jiang restores, Wu Yong saps the foe. Where they stand decides who they reach, and a ring turns under every unit they touch.
- Legendary arms五品兵甲 · 神兵: gear in five tiers. The market sells the basics; temper a blade to +4 at the forge and once more lifts it a whole tier. Rares only drop, and each hero has one legendary weapon to win back in skirmish replays.
- Promotion天罡印 · 转职: a rare seal and a hard-won level promote a hero: stronger stats, a deeper trait, and a stepped-up form of every art.
- Born under the stars天罡 · 地煞: every hero carries his star from the novel’s 108, the 36 Heavenly Spirits and 72 Earthly Fiends, drawn as his own small constellation. Li Kui is the Star of Heavenly Slaughter.
- A living battlefield昼夜 · 天象: every battle opens at its own hour, day, a golden afternoon or a moonlit night, and the sky behind the board never stands still: cranes and wild geese by day; by night shooting stars, sky lanterns, and now and then the Big Dipper flaring gold.
- An original soundtrack原创配乐: a theme and a climax for every chapter on suona, erhu, pipa and war drums, and a sound picked by ear for every weapon and art.
- Honest tactics: hit, crit, counter and backstab follow visible rules; four difficulties from Easy to Impossible, tuned against a campaign simulator.
- A long tail车轮战 · 剿匪 · 图鉴 · 打造: endless survival mode, skirmish replays of cleared chapters, a codex to complete, weapons to forge.
- Fully offline: no account, no network, no ads, no stamina, no gacha. Your saves live on your device. English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. iPhone and iPad, iOS 15 or later.
- 十五回战役：每一回都是手工搭出来的名场面，配一幅专属场景画，对白用的是原汁原味的白话。
- 一十七位好汉，一人一绝：每位好汉各有一项特性，排兵布阵可以围着它来。林冲遇袭抢先还手，阮小七入水如蛟龙，李逵斩敌之后还能再动。
- 奥义与合击：怒气攒满，好汉携灵兽放出全屏奥义；情义相投的好汉并肩而立，还能联手使出七路合击，每一路都有自己的水墨演出。
- 气场：晁盖鼓舞同伴，宋江替人回气，吴用压制敌人。站在哪里，决定气场罩得住谁；被气场罩住的人，脚下都有一圈转动的光环。
- 五品兵甲，神兵难求：装备分五品。寻常货色市集有售；铁匠铺把兵器炼到 +4，再炼一次就升一品。珍品只在战场上掉，每位好汉还有一件专属神兵，藏在剿匪重打的战场里。
- 天罡印转职：天罡印难得，等级也要实打实练上去，两样齐了才能转职。转职之后属性大涨，特性更进一层，每一招也跟着升阶。
- 天罡地煞，各有其星：每位好汉对应一百单八星里的一颗，三十六天罡、七十二地煞，各画一幅自己的星图。李逵是天杀星，孙二娘是地壮星。
- 战场有昼夜，天上有星象：每一仗开在不同的时辰，白天、午后斜阳或者月夜。棋盘后面的天也不闲着：白天有鹤群、雁阵飞过；夜里流星划过，孔明灯升起，偶尔北斗七星金光一闪。
- 原创配乐：每一回一首主题曲、一首高潮曲，唢呐、二胡、琵琶配上战鼓；每种兵器、每门武艺的声音，也都是一个个听过挑出来的。
- 明明白白的战棋：命中、会心、反击、背袭都按明面上的规则来；简单、普通、困难、地狱四档难度，都用战役模拟器一遍遍跑过、调过。
- 通关不散场：车轮战无尽挑战，剿匪重打通关过的章回，还有图鉴可收、兵甲可造。
- 完全离线：不用账号，不用联网，没有广告，没有体力限制，没有抽卡。存档只保存在本机。支持简体中文、繁體中文、English、日本語和한국어，iPhone、iPad 都能玩，需要 iOS 15 或更高版本。

When does it come out?
It is in TestFlight now, being playtested and polished before its App Store release. There is no release date yet; this page will carry the App Store link the day it goes live.
Which devices does it run on? Is there an Android version?
iPhone and iPad, on iOS 15 or later, played in landscape. There is no Android version.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. There is no account and no network connection at any point, and your saves stay on your device. It plays the same with no signal at all.
How much does it cost?
The download is free and chapters 1–5 are free to play. One purchase of US$3.99 unlocks chapters 6–15 for good. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no stamina and no gacha.
Which languages is it in?
English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The game follows your device’s language the first time it opens, and the Settings panel on the title screen switches it.
How hard is it?
You choose one of four difficulties, Easy, Normal, Hard or Impossible, when a run begins, and can change it in camp between battles. Each step up brings more and stronger foes and more loot.
Is there anything to do after the story?
Yes: an endless Survival mode, Skirmish replays of cleared chapters (where the legendary arms drop), a codex to complete and weapons to forge. The tips page has every item, its drop odds and every hero.
Does the game collect any data?
No. It has no analytics, ads or tracking of any kind. The privacy policy has the details.
