Martial arts
The family saber's first marvel: it cuts copper and iron and the edge never turns. A heavy blow on one foe that ignores 40% of its Defense.
Born to the art, raised on it. Finesse +2, Might +1.
The Blue-Faced Beast squares up. For two turns every foe within two tiles of him must come at him, and the stance moves with him. Defense +2, and with his ripostes, whoever comes regrets it.
The saber's second marvel: a hair blown onto the edge falls in two. Two tiles in a line are cut through, armour and all (Defense -2, two turns).
The hair-splitting cut grows into the Five-Tiger Gate-Breaker: three tiles cleaved in a line, shield and mail split (Defense -3, two turns).
Ultimate
Yang Zhi plants the saber and leaves himself open, and every foe in the eight tiles around him swings at him against their will, each blow at full weight. He takes none of it: the saber drinks every blow and gives the whole sum back to each of them, with a cut of his own on top. Survivors: Defense -3 and Might -2 for two turns.
Legendary arms
The heirloom blade, re-tempered. Armor is a rumour to it. Ignores 40% of Defense.
Skirmish ch. 11 on Hard or Impossible; only this hero can wield it.
